Best Buddies

Rylan has found a true friend in his cousin Brynn. They get along so well. They do fight, but they make up immediately and go right back to holding hands. They are so cute to watch.

Everywhere we have been lately, my kids have found snakes (much to my dismay!) Hayden & Rylan would touch them and even hold them a little bit, but Jordyn & Ryder were a different story. They were like mini Steve Irwins. There favorite thing was for the snake to go down their shirts - yuck! Brook & I are both afraid of snakes; at one point one of the snakes got down and started slithering towards us, Brook & I clung to each other and started backing up and Brook said "Don't worry Ryder will protect us." How sad is that!

Camping fun!

We went camping over Memorial Day weekend with my family and our cousins the Ashbys and the Smiths. We have always gone camping with these same families for as long as I can remember (and even before then). It is so fun now that we are all bringing our own kids. I hope that this will be something we will always be able to do.

Happy Birthday Jordy!!!

Tomorrow is my cute little niece Jordyn's third birthday. She is such a fun little girl, she sure has a lot of energy and just as much personality. I love her more than anything, but I am glad that at the end of the day she gets to go home with my brother! :)

Graduation Time!

Two of my most favorite boys in the world have graduated this week. My favoritest cousin Jono graduated from Delta High School last night; and my favoritest oldest son Hayden graduated from Kindergarten at Spring Lake Elementary today.

I am so proud of both of them!

Weekend at Grandma's

My boys love to go to Oak City. There is just so much to do. This past weekend they worked really hard. They helped work in the yard, water trees, and feed the cows, but they also have lots of time for fun. The love to play in the creek (that is pronounced "crick"), play in the dirt, ride 4 wheelers and lots of other stuff. Rylan cries everytime we leave. We sure love Oak City!

The Zoo

On the first warm Saturday in April,we took the kids to the Hogle Zoo. The boys had so much fun. Rylan was bummed though. The only animal he wanted to see was "Gloria" the hippo - and they didn't even have a hippo! By the way, don't you think the gorilla looks like it has boobs!?

I did it!

Okay, so I am going to give this blog thing a try. I love looking at everyone else's, so why not show off my kids too! Well, I will post some pictures soon.
