Things you didn't know that you wanted to know about me...

1.Were you named after anyone? Not really, my mom had a doll named Jimi Lin, but there wasn't a real person I was named after.
2. When was the last time you cried? A couple weeks ago. Titanic was on TV and we watched it for the gazillionth time, and I cried for the gazillionth time.
3. Do you like your handwriting? Nope, not really.
4. What is your favorite lunch meat? definately turkey
5. Do you have kids? Yes, two adorable boys
6. If you were another person would you be friends with you? I hope that I am the type of person that people want to be friends with (especially myself)
7. Do you use sarcasm a lot? I think so.
8. Do you still have your tonsils? Yes but they should have been taken out when a long time ago...they are ginormous (yes it's a real word, look it up in the new dictionary)
9. Would you bungee jump? I don't know, I had a hard enough time cliff jumping at Lake Powell. I become a bigger wimp every year, so if I'm going to do it, I'd better hurry.
10. What is your favorite cereal? Raisin Bran Crunch
11. Do you untie your shoes when you take them off? Yes, I have to set a good example for my kids!
12. Do you think you are strong? No, not really. My legs are definately stronger than my arms. I could kick some butt at an Indian Leg Wrestle (I mean a Native American Leg Wrestle)
13. What is your favorite ice cream? So many to choose from, but probably just Cookies-n-Cream, especially at Disneyland...Only one more month! Yipee!
14. What is the first thing you notice about people? Their attitude towards me.
15. Red or pink? I would probably have to say red. Does anyone want to trade me a red ipod for my pink one?
16. What is the thing that you like least about yourself? I am very insecure. So I have too many things to list-so I guess my insecurities is what I least like about myself
17. Who do you miss the most? My Grandma Joyce. I don't see her nearly enough. I used to see her just about every day, now it's maybe once a month. She did just learn how to text, so we text at least 3 times a week, it's great!
18. What are you wearing? Grey sweats, a black tank top, and yeah, no bra (sorry TMI)
19. Have you ever re-gifted? Probably wedding gifts
20. What are you listening to right now? Shuffle on my ipod and it is currently on Air Supply--yes Air Supply.
21. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Probably lime green, because it's bright and springy
22. Favorite smells? I love rain and gasoline, and wet cow manure-sorry, but it reminds me of home.
23. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Brook, I called and woke him up (what was he doing in bed at 9:30 at night!)
24. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Yes! She is so fun. It's fun to stay in touch with Jill through our blogs
25. Favorite sports to watch? Superbowl, NBA Finals (but no games in between)
26. Favorite Foods? Definately seafood---JUST KIDDING, anything BUT seafood

Happy Heart Day!

Valentines Day should be just as disappointing as my anniversary (seeing as I married the most unromantic man ever-well my dad runs a very close second), I know it shouldn't matter if I don't receive a gift or a card, but it would sure be nice sometimes-I'm hoping that my love will maybe read this and maybe get some ideas! ;) But I always have a great day anyways because I get to spoil the other loves of my life-Hayden & Rylan (and yes I even get Dee a card and a gift-knowing that there will be nothing in return-oh well). I am training my boys to be wonderful men and husbands, plus I get to give them a fun day to remember and traditions to enjoy.

This year was a little difficult, because I had to work on Valentines, but it turned out pretty good anyways.

I love the holidays, I love doing fun things for every holiday. Dee says I go to too much work and stress myself out. But it really isn't stressful, because I love doing things for others (especially my boys).

Then, I always have a treasure hunt for the boys to find their presents, I have done that since Hayden was 1 or 2-he looks forward to it every year.

This year Rylan got an animal train puzzle-what could possibly be better than that-his three favorite things all in one!

Mom for Hire and/or Kids for Sale

I put in my two weeks notice to my "boss" Dee yesterday. I told him that I was quitting as wife and mother and that I might not even show up for my last days . After two weeks of sick kids (strep last week and influenza this week) I have completely had it! Who would have thought that I would actually be excited to go to work, but I was ecstatic to come today :)
I felt so bad that my kiddos were not feeling well, but come on, there is a limit to how long I can be cooped up in a house with crabby kids. My boys fought so much the past few days, that I told them I had them for sale on KSL, and I was actually lowering the price to "free". Yes I know that I am a mean mom, but my nerves were shot!
Hayden is so used to being at school all day, and Rylan is so used to being home by his self and being able to play with anything he wants without getting in trouble that they had a really hard time being together all day long!
I am also a bad mom because in reality Hayden should have stayed home one more day, because it hadn't been 48 hours since his last fever, but I needed to come to work. Besides, if you give him some motrin he is as good as new. He was up and dressed for school before I even had to ask him today(normally it's a big fight to make it to the bus on time). I think he was just as ready to get out of the house today as I was. Even Rylan, who used to cry every week when he had to go to the babysitter, was waiting for me by the door with his coat and shoes on.
I guess if we have survived this last 2 weeks, we can survive anything---hopefully!

Moonlight

Okay, so has anybody watched Moonlight on Friday nights (I don't remember what time or what channel)? Well, I totally think it is a knock-off of Twilight. I mean-hello-how much closer could the names be!?!
It's about vampires and the main guy falls in love with a human. A lot of the characteristics are the same as Edward (ahhh!) Anyways, it's kind of dumb, but I can't help myself from watching it. The guy on it gets cuter with the more episodes I watch.
It kind of bugs though, because some of their facts about vampires are wrong. I mean, cause we all know all about vampires and we know all the correct facts. I just want to call and tell the producers that they have some things wrong and I would be more than happy to tell them how it should be.
So I need someone else to watch it and tell me what they think.

Dear Lizzie,

Thank you for all the good times that you have given to us-especially all the yummy food.

No, Lizzie is not a real person, but Lizzie is an evil temptress. For the girls birthdays in the Nuttall family we try to get together and go to Dear Lizzie's (a boutique and bakery in Highland). We had two girls birthdays this last week-Connie (Nana) and baby Claire (who just celebrated her 1st birthday.

We made the journey to Highland (to me it feels like a journey, coming from Santaquin!) and had a great time. We really look forward to eating there-and let me tell you the food did not disappoint. It does get a little expensive though, because I am not willing to share my cupcake, so I have to get Ry his very own-then I feel bad that I haven't gotten anything for Dee and Hayden so I end up getting them something.

This time I invited my other sister-in-law Melissa and my niece Jordyn (I hope everyone else didn't care). It was fun to have them there for our girls day.
