Where does the time go?

I just went and signed my baby up for kindergarten, and I'm kind of sad about it. He is a full year older than Hayden was when he went to kindergarten, but he still seems to young. He was so grown up when he was doing his testing. Why do they have to grow up so fast? :( I love this little boy so very much, and I hope that he will always be my baby...

Funny weather

We got a lot of snow last weekend and my kids were so excited. It was the first time our snow was actually decent and good for making a snow man. They had the best time.

Oh you naughty little boy!

What am I going to do with my son?! Hayden has always been such a good kid at school. He has never gotten into trouble; and Rylan...well he is only in preschool and the teacher has already had to create a new rule, all because of him! We are not off to a good start. What is the new rule, you may be wondering, well it is simply : Yes my child is a little Romeo. From what I understand he has kissed 2 different girls in a matter of 2 weeks (who knows, there could be more - he tells me that he is not sure if he kissed Ruby, he can't really remember).

I was talking to Kassidy's mom (who was a good sport and laughed about it), she said that Kassidy came home from school and said "Guess what I did at school today"..."I kissed my boyfriend on the lips". Her mom found out that they were hiding so that they could kiss. So I asked Rylan where they were when they kissed and he said "in the bathroom, behind the couch, behind some toys..." I asked him how many times they kissed and he said "oh, about ten". Ten?! Oh dear, I have a feeling I have my work cut out for me! Needless to say, we have once again had the talk about NO KISSING UNTIL YOU ARE 30! But I am sure that we will be having this exact same discussion in a few months. I hope I survive this boy!

I conquered my fears!

I don't know why, but I have always been afraid of making sugar cookies. I love to bake, but for some reason I was always intimidated by them. Well, I got my mother-in-laws recipe and I did it, I made some dang good sugar cookies!

I made these for Rylan's 1/2 birthday at school, but I made the mistake of using the gel frosting for the eyes and mouth and some of them ran, Rylan's ended up looking more like Jack Skellington than a smiley face :) oh well

I made these Dodgers cookies for my friend's birthday. I thought they were pretty cute!

Random Happenings

We have been so busy lately, we barely have time to eat! Dee and I are working full time and the boys are in school. Hayden just finished Jr. Jazz, which of course he loved. He has just started karate, and he thinks it's awesome! Rylan didn't want to do karate, but he is going to try t-ball this year. Ry has kindergarten registration coming up, which he is so excited for. I'm just going to post some pictures of things we have been doing lately.
