Christmas Eve we were brave enough to drive in the snow to Mapleton to Dee's mom & dad's house (I am seriously looking for something to drive that has 4-wheel drive!), we did make it in one piece. Which was good because his parents had made a fantastic dinner (just imagine...prime rib roast, shirley's rolls, salad, appetizers, and brownies-ice cream-and hot fudge for dessert :) We had our nativity, the kids had a dance off, and we played lots of games of bingo.
Our group for the Nativity Scene gets larger every year.
I had to put this cute picture of Claire and Mollie, because Claire was so sad in the first picture.

The girls and our pajamas (notice Rylan holding my ear)Opening their Christmas Eve presentsHayden in his new jammies, with his new Christmas book
Rylan will never pose for me, so I just have to take what I can get
*Just a note about their jammies. This is the first year that I have not got them matching Christmas jammies :( I thought that I would make them happy and get them "character" jammies. For those of you who don't know, I am strongly opposed to "character clothes" for my kids. Now don't get me wrong, they are fine for your kids, but my children will not be seen in public wearing a Bob the Builder shirt, or Spiderman light-up shoes, etc. So anyways, I was being a really nice mom by letting them have their dino and Thomas jammies on Christmas Eve.

Cute pics! I hear you on the character clothes. I got your back on that one.
Good Memories! And just for the record, we didn't cheat. We are just really good at bingo. :)
We did have a fun time, didn't we. And you forgot to mention the winner of the prize that really mattered. That $100 sure was fun to spend!:)
Jimi,
I got your blog off of Jills. WOW you have changed. I just watched the whole 2 hour movie of "Saturdays Warriors" redone by you and Jill and Julie and your little sis (Malory, I think). How is your family? The only ones I remember are you and your brother and Malory. I babysat you guys a few times....good times. Tell your mom and dad "hi". She was my young womens advisor for a while.
