I don't know why, but I have always been afraid of making sugar cookies. I love to bake, but for some reason I was always intimidated by them. Well, I got my mother-in-laws recipe and I did it, I made some dang good sugar cookies!
I made these for Rylan's 1/2 birthday at school, but I made the mistake of using the gel frosting for the eyes and mouth and some of them ran, Rylan's ended up looking more like Jack Skellington than a smiley face :) oh well
I made these Dodgers cookies for my friend's birthday. I thought they were pretty cute!

I remember you've been afraid of sugar cookies. You're awesome at everything else. Well except for maybe coming to your own ward for church. Those cookies look scrumptious.
