I love my grandparents so much. They have been such a big part of my life. My grandma would do anything (and everything) for us. When I was little I wouldn't go to sleep unless my grandma came up to Oak City and stayed with me until I went to sleep. She would pick us up from school and take us wherever we needed to go. She would fix us mac & cheese and ramen noodles everyday because that is what we wanted. She would let us drive her car either down mainstreet or in the cemetery long before we were 16. She is the most loving, giving and least judgmental person I know. I am so grateful to have her in my life.
My grandpa is probably the best golfer I know. He was always nice enough to let us drive his golf cart all over their yard and to try and teach each of us how to golf (and some were more talented than others!) He must have really loved me, because it seems like I was the only one who could get the remote from him and watch my shows. He has a wonderful sense of humor and he is so very fun and funny to talk to. We love to hear his stories.
I love you Grandma and Grandpa!

We were actually able to get a cute picture of all of us.
But the Ashby's weren't so lucky! :)
This is their super cute cake made by the wonderful Marsha-she has made almost all of Hayden's cakes.
This is my Grandpa and his older brother Louis and his younger brother Willie. It was great to see them. We don't make it out to Ely hardly at all anymore to see them. I sure miss going out.

I have lots of good memories of you grandparents! It seemed like we always went there after school. I thought it was so fun to drive the golf cart! Your grandma was so sweet to me too. I can't believe how little they have changed throughout the years! Tell them happy birthday from me!
Aww...back in the day at grandma Joyce's. I remember going there before gymnastics.
Nice... What a moment. Thanks for the memory. I was trying to forget that. Too bad I'm not a blogger, or I would get even with you.
Love ya,
(One of the Ashbys)
I just wanted to comment on how hilarous the Ashby's picture is. My favorite part of that picture is Jason...apparently he thinks it is pretty funny too! Ann you know I love ya!
